Apple.Inc announced the launch of AirPods Pro on October 28th, 2019, which is a new and updated design of the existing AirPods. AirPods Pro seeks to improve the noise-canceling technology and water resistance level. The overall appearance of the AirPods slightly changes; the silicone tips in the front are designed to make listeners more comfortable. The tips come in three sizes to fit different people’s ears. AirPods Pro uses two microphones, one facing outward and one facing inward. Because of the silicone tips, AirPods Pro is wider, which causes a wider charging case.
With the Active Noise Cancellation turned on, AirPods Pro can last up to four and a half hours for listening. Without it turned off, AirPods Pro can last up to five hours of listening time. The new case supports Qi-based wireless charging, and it offers more than twenty-four hours of additional listening time. The Transparency Mode option helps the users to listen to the traffic and hear announcements. The Adaptive EQ feature is also introduced in the AirPods Pro, designed for superior sound quality. This new feature “tunes the low and mid frequencies of the music to the shape of an individual’s ear.”
With new features such as customizable fit, Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive EQ, and water-resistant, the AirPods Pro is set at a higher price than the previous AirPods. These new features make AirPods Pro more attractive to customers than the previous AirPods.
