Produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2019, Frozen II is a 3D computer-animated musical fantasy movie. As the sequel of the famous 2013 movie Frozen, Frozen II grabs lots of audiences’ attention once it released. Frozen II mainly talks about the story after Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven started the journey to an ancient and autumn-bound forest in order to find the origin of Elsa’s power and save Arendelle, their kingdom. I think Frozen II’s major theme is “mature”, while Frozen’s major them is “grow up”. The new movie receives both good feedbacks and bad feedbacks. Frozen’s visuals and special effects have already amazed most of the audiences, however, Frozen II’s visuals and special effects scale another new height. The songs in Frozen II are satisfying and pleasant to listen to. The themes in Frozen II are more abstract and serious, which makes the story more complete and complicated. As always, movies also come with critiques. Some audiences believe that the storyline is stale; people can easily guess what will happen next. Others feel that there are too many songs in the movie, which makes audiences feel bored and disappointed as they really expect the next steps of the characters. Overall, the visuals impressed me, and I would like to watch it again. I think Frozen II is worth watching.
