In Honor of MLK Day

January 20, 2020 is the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday which marks the 25th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the Civil Rights leaders legacy. It’s a federal holiday designated as a day of national service to spread and inspire Americans to improve their communities. It’s seen as a day to promote equal rights of all Americans. This day, we celebrate the achievements and all that Martin Luther King Jr. has done as an impactful civil rights leader. He was an important leader in the movement to end racial segregation in our country. Our school takes this important day off to celebrate the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr. Let’s enjoy this day off by volunteering, helping someone out, and make our community a better place!
